(Beta) Online Framework Web Browser Test


 

 

Necessary Components

Each of the following steps need to be enabled in order to use the Online Web Framework.

Step 1: JavaScript Enabled?

If you are receiving an error message above, you will need to enable JavaScript in your browser.

Step 2: VBScript Enabled?

If the VBScript Test failed, please refer to this document (See Table of Contents, Subject: User Name But Won't Accept Password; Possibility #2)

Step 3: Operating System?

   

Step 4: Browser Supported?

Step 5: Menu Control Allowed?

   

After clicking on the TEST MENU button, you should have seen a sub-menu with "Click Here". If you did not did you see the sub-menu, the menu control has not installed.

If the Menu Control Test failed, please refer to this document (See Table of Contents, Subject: No Template Categories Appearing in Reports) for an example on how to install the menu, and then refresh this page (press F5).

   
Step 6: Allowed Port Communication?

Click to test port.

You should see an "Port Communication Test Successful" with a description in red text.

Step 7: Popups Allowed?

Click to PopUp

You should see a yellow page with a "popcorn" icon.

If you do NOT see this, please refer to this document (See Table of Contents, Subject: User Name But Won't Accept Password; Possibility #1)

   
Step 8: Refresh Content Every Time?

Your browser should be configured to refresh page content every time it "sees" the page - not "Automatically" as is usually the case.

Step 9: Line Speed Check: 

You can test your connection speed at: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ or  http://www.2wire.com/bandwidth/initialmeter.php .  The Online Web Framework requires at least a 56 kbs/sec connection - preferrably with a dialup accelerator.
